About the Opportunity

Micro1 is looking for Chinese Voice Coaches to support the development of next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will listen to Chinese speech samples, assess pronunciation and fluency, and provide clear feedback to help improve AI-generated speech and language performance.

No previous AI experience is required. Your Chinese language knowledge and attention to detail are important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to Chinese audio clips and evaluate the speaker's or AI model's fluency and naturalness.
  • Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity.
  • Write clear and concise feedback in English.
  • Explain your evaluations with detailed justifications.
  • Work with project coordinators to clarify language-related requirements.
  • Provide insights that help improve AI language understanding and speech generation.
  • Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Native-level proficiency in Chinese, including spoken and written language.
  • At least B2-level English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
  • Strong listening and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to identify and explain differences in pronunciation and language delivery.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet working space.

Preferred Background

  • Voice specialization.
  • Linguistics or phonetics.
  • Music or audio engineering.
  • Audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment.
  • Media, communications, or teaching.

Relevant experience is an advantage, but prior AI experience is not required.
