📋 About the Project

The project focuses on modernizing a decade-old production HR technology SaaS platform used by employers to manage employee leave, absence, and pay.

The engineer will help upgrade the existing .NET monolith and MongoDB infrastructure while maintaining production stability and protecting essential business operations.

🔄 Modernization Roadmap

  • .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET Standard to .NET 10

🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze legacy .NET applications and existing architecture.
  • Plan and execute incremental modernization.
  • Write and review production code.
  • Use AI coding tools effectively and responsibly.
  • Build regression tests and improve system reliability.
  • Manage safe production releases and rollback plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business experts.
  • Identify technical risks and communicate solutions.

🎯 Required Experience

  • Approximately 8–10+ years of professional C#/.NET experience.
  • Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.x.
  • Experience migrating large production systems to modern .NET.
  • MongoDB experience, including driver and server upgrades.
  • Experience with large legacy codebases and regression testing.
  • Daily experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong communication and independent problem-solving skills.

  • .NET Standard 2.0 and multi-targeting strategies.
  • HR technology, payroll, benefits, or leave management experience.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS experience.
  • AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
